Day in Peterborough

A lovely bright morning and I went out quite early and up to the Brotherhood retail park. The church near Rachel’s showing what a clear day it was.
After a bit of shopping I walked up to the overpass and took photos of the chaotic road works.

Then I caught the bus to Lincoln Road as I was meeting Mike to walk into town with him. This mosque was still under construction when I lived in Peterborough.
Mike and I walked into town and had fish and chips at the place near the market. Then we walked down towards the river. We passed this funky motorbike.
There were a lot of swans on the river today.

We went to M & S and met up with Margherita and Rose, which was really good. My sister seems better than she did last year. After that we walked back to Mike’s where Rachel came to pick me up. A lot of steps today so a relaxing evening ready for travelling home tomorrow.

  1. Those roadworks do look chaotic. Not been that way myself for a while. Doesn’t look as though I’m missing much!
Some nice bright pics today. The sky looks good in them, specially the mosque.
It was nice to see you today and I enjoyed our little trip out. Great to see Margherita and Rose too.
Hope you have a good journey home tomorrow, and the legs don’t ache too much after me dragging you around today.
