Travelling and visiting

No pictures tonight, did take a couple but they were in Hull and the Knife Angel again, I caught the bus at 7.45 am, got to Hull just before nine and the train wasn’t until 10.27 so had a walk into the city and the Angel was still there which was great. It is definitely leaving the city and off to Coventry on Monday. There is to be an open air service around it tomorrow with the Bishop of Hull before it goes on it’s way.

The first train was quiet today and then I had an hour or so in Doncaster so walked round the shopping no centre but didn’t buy anything. The second train was slightly late arriving in Peterborough, but again it wasn’t as busy as my usual trips. Angie was there to meet me and we went back to hers and had a good natter and I saw her swish new bathroom. She drove me up to Eye where I visited Emmie who’s is in her late nineties now, she was on good form but has knocked one of her legs and was well bandaged up. Then Angie drove me to Rachel’s where I have spent a very pleasant evening. We watched Casualty, the cross over program with Holby and it was left as a cliff hanger!

Seeing Anya, Louis and Isobel tomorrow which will be lovely.
