Quite a busy day

Quite a full day today, I took another couple of bags to the charity shop early and made an appointment to get my hair cut at lunch time.i caught the bus up to Freeport as I had cards and cake for the girls at the craft outlet. On the way up to the craft store I spotted a great Christmas jumper in the window of one of the shops. I hadn’t gone with the intention of buying anything but it was irresistible!
I went to the Poundstretcher shop got some cat food which is really cheap there and found some stem ginger biscuits that I really used to like. I took the trolley and walked home, it was cold and drizzly so was glad to get indoors.
I had my haircut, a nice job as usual and thought I might do some baking but the weather cleared up so I went out in the garden for an hour or so. I used the hoe I bought yesterday and it is really great. I cleared the bed in the back garden and planted some bulbs.
Will hopefully make a start on th Christmas baking tomorrow.

  1. Love the jumper, I can see why you had to get it. You’ll have to b3 careful you don’t drip any gravy down it Christmas Day!
Sounds like you’ve had a fairly full day, but that’s not unusual for you. The day you don’t find fifteen different jobs to do will be unusual. It even sounds like gardening was fun with the new hoe. It’d take more than that to make me think caring for a garden that size was fun!
Any Christmas colour involved in the haircut?

  2. No colour, did think about it though!
The jumper was displayed in the window and there was another lady in there buying one, very successful bit of window dressing!
The hoe is so much better that the usual variety.
