We have had a fairly quiet day, the weather was horrid this morning, rain and strong wind. After breakfast we went round to sit with Finlay for a while, he hasn’t been well so I didn’t get much of a cuddle as he doesn’t know me and was happier with mum and nanny. Very cute little lad though, just three months old. This afternoon we went to the pictures and saw ‘Tulip Fever’, I hadn’t heard of it but the trailer seemed interesting and it was quite a good story.
Tomorrow I have the long journey home but it has been good to spend time catching up with Hazel and of course meeting the newest addition to the family.
We had a fair bit of rain and wind here this morning too. But it’ll soon be winter, so we can expect worse!
ReplyDeleteHe looks a cute little lad 👶. A cuddle is nice, but it’s always good to be able to hand them back 😀
I looked up the film. Not really my cup of tea from the write up, but it’s hard to tell until you actually watch it I suppose.
I really hope your trip home tomorrow, well actually today now, goes ok. Hopefully I’ll catch you before you leave and along the journey too.
It was nice to meet Finlay.
ReplyDeleteThe film was a period piece and as it was not English history quite different. Judy Dench had a pretty small role. One of the main characters was the girl from Strike, didn’t place her until I was back at Hazel’s.
