Garden centre and Ashridge estate

This morning I had an earlycup of tea in bed after a good sleep. We had breakfast and took our time and then, after the traffic had quietened went to a very nice garden centre. Lots of Christmas displays and a very silly reindeer!
We came home and had a nice lunch and then went to Ashridge estate for a walk round. A bit muddy but not cold and rain is expected again tomorrow.

Must have been some wind to take that tree down!
Absolutely loved this bench, no way it would fit in the car though!
More chatting this evening and Adrian popped in for a bit to see me. Will see the new great nephew tomorrow.

  1. Now that’s how every day should start. You should make a habit of it.
Some very nice displays in that garden centre. Unlike some of the really tacky ones I’ve seen at other places. Good job you have to come home on the train or I’m certain you’d have bought that reindeer 😀
The wooded area looks nice and that bench is fantastic. I’d love to have a go at chainsaw carving!

  2. We thought ugh we would get out while it was dry, although the rain had made it muddy underfoot.
It was a fantastic bench, could see something like that in our garden.
