I was there before actual sunrise but it was looking quite good, but not enough cloud to be spectacular today.
A few more shots, I got a bit snap happy but have reduced the numbers considerably!
One of the groynes for a change as I was on the beach!
And a couple more of the sea before I headed home.
Tina drove us to a local pumpkin farm, what a great display of gourds and pumpkins.
Loved those onion shaped pumpkins! Then had to have this picture taken!
An unusual display of gourds and then we drove to look at the pumpkin field where they may be doing ‘pick your own’ at the weekend.
We called in at the garden centre on the way home, the Christmas reindeer are already belting out the carols and the clown fish just over the coral!
The three of us had take away fish and chips on a bench looking at the sea, with the seagulls circling us hopefully. They were unlucky! Then Tina drove me up to Mappleton to try and catch the sunset. Just took the phone but will finish with the shots.
What a great way to start the day. Even if it wasn’t as spectacular as you’d hoped, it was still pretty damn good. The last two of the sunrise are my favourites. Then to get the sunset too at the end of the day is just showing off 😊 I love the one of the church and the one after it through the hedgerow.
ReplyDeleteAll in all you’ve had a very mixed day, but a busy one! The pumpkins and gourd pics are really colourful with some fantastic shapes. I think the onion shaped one is pretty funky too.
The reindeer are quite amusing and do make a good subject, but they do appear earlier and earlier every year. Or is it just me getting old? Humbug!
And you throw in a great pic of the clown fish too for good measure! What a great day for pics. Now you can think about starting all over again tomorrow 😊
I was surprised the reindeer were already in full voice, I am with you, way too early! Made for more variety in the pictures today though. The pumpkin place was great to look round, so much variety and colour.
ReplyDeleteDon’t think I will be matching it tomorrow!
