I took the bus up to Freeport this morning and it seems that the damp weather has triggered fungi growth everywhere!
A lovely yellow flower at Freeport and a beautiful rowen tree when I was walking home.
This afternoon Darren and I both went into the garden, he cleared leaves and I did some weeding.
Quiet evening and early night as I am leaving early to do a flying visit to Peterborough,
Always nice to have a helpful cat around! Does look cute though, so can be excused.
ReplyDeleteBlimey that is a lot of fungi. Some of it does look edible, specially the ones around the stump. Not worth the risk though unless you know what you’re doing...and I certainly don’t.
I like the yellow flower, and the rowen trees always look so colourful. The light helps, but it’s almost glowing in the pic.
You really do need to get one of those powered leaf collectors. So much easier, and quicker than all that raking. Darren look# as though he’s really enjoying himself.....not! 😊
Hope your trip goes ok tomorrow.
Quite a dull day, but didn’t get caught in the rain which was good. That rowen would have been even more spectacular in bright sunshine.
ReplyDeleteOur lawns were mowed today so no fungi for a while, but have see a lot recently.
