It will make a very attractive card. This morning I did do a bit of clearing in the garden, it began to rain but I kept on, got a bit damp but got the bed along by the wall tidied up.
This afternoon I went round to Sarah and David’s to meet Tamar who is doing a dot art session at the Living Well meeting in a couple of weeks. The idea is that I will assist her by working with some of the folk having a go. The examples are good, she intends to do coasters at this session.
If it is popular there could be more classes with perhaps bigger projects.
Before tea I went with Tina to deliver a letter and then we went to look at the sea. It was looking quite green today.
This evening I had a ply with some paints on a rough pebble. Not the best idea, it didn’t take the dots at all well and the surface wasn’t even either. The samples were on flat wood and painted. I will try again on something more suitable so that I know what I am talking about when I am helping others!
The stamp is really good, and using green ink makes it look so much more natural. It reminds me of old fashioned wallpaper that I remember having in the house when I was a kid....a lot of years ago! It’ll make a great card.
ReplyDeleteThe coasters are lovely. So much different to what I was expecting. Very Spanish mosaic like. The funky kangaroo is great too. Really like the concept and I think you’ll end up making some great stuff. I’m looking forward to seeing the results. The spider on the stone isn’t bad for a first go considering it’s on a totally different medium. What paint do you use to do it?
Love the colour of the sea in the first of those pics. In fact like the whole shot all together. Straight horizons too.....show off 😊
Been a pretty easy going day, but I think I feel better for it. Have used the exercise bike for a few minutes, so keeping to that at the moment!
ReplyDeleteI think the dot art is great, and can see it being used on various projects. I will have a proper practice before I help out though.
The sea had a green tint today, have noticed that a fair bit lately.
