As we drove to Sigglesthorne and St Lawrence church we spotted this beautiful carved tree trunk.
Sigglesthorne was going to be the last church but another surprise after that!
A really interesting church.
We were back in time to go to Bettisons Folly, which only opens once a year on this day,
It is a bit of a health and safety nightmare, but I went up to the top!

I can’t believe that health and safety would condone any member of the public going up those stairs, or more so down them! A lot of people would have given it a miss so good on you for making it to the top. Nice place for taking pics as well. You’ll have knee ache tomorrow 😊
