Slow photo day!

This morning I walked up to Freeport, probably not the best ide I ever had a one of my ankles was making me limp for a while today! I called I and had a word with Carol and Sal at the hairdressers as I passed. Isqt and had a rest a little while before I got to Freeport. Took a picture of the sky from there, as you do!
'
I did take one of the cemetery but it was out of focus! The bushes have been cleared a bit along Polly’s Path.
I had lunch up there, did some shopping in Pound Stretcher and then walked down through the site to catch the bus home,
Tina had been into the Open Artist Studio and bought me a lovely little piece of pottery with a couple of air plants in it.
We watched Qualifying and then I did sorting in the bedroom rather that clearing, although I did throw some stuff out as well. I had similar things all over the place, I now have enough watercolour pads I can find to last me for years!
I forgot to put a picture of a gin bottle that Tina bought back from Orkney for me, very unusual! She said the gin was good too!
Have watched some Olympics and will watch The Wheel and Casualty this evening.

  1. Probably not the best idea going for a long walk, but Freeport is a nice place to go and do some lovely lunches!
Most people never even think to take pics of the sky, or even look at it come to that. I think it’s a great subject and a wonderful thing to look at, obviously you are of the same thinking 😊
Polly’s Path does look nice all trimmed up, it does usually anyway.
Love the little pot with the two plants in, very unusual. I bet I’d kill it though, I always do ☹️
Sorting is another never ending task, a bit like the garden but not quite so exhausting. You need a little one roomed flat with no garden, and become a minimalist! Never going to happen.
Did she drink the whole bottle, or was it shared?

  2. I am sure it was shared!
I love the little pot too, and I think the bottle is great.
Sometimes I wish I was a minimalist, but not for long, like my treasures too much!
