My sister’s birthday!

Hope my sister Margherita had a great day, although she won’t read this as she doesn’t look at the blog, I have spoken to her though.
This morning I went out to post a letter for Tina at about nine thirty, and although I had had a particularly bad night I felt okay and decided to walk to the front which I haven’t done fora while. I walked there and back without stopping apart from taking these two photos.

I made a batch of cheese scones, some for Tina to take on her trip tomorrow and four to take round to Sarah and David later.
Gone out of sync again, I took photos of a lovely white hydrangea and a cluster of lilies in the memorial garden.

I took some photos of the yellow daisy type flowers and couldn’t pick so will post all three.

I went out to the greenhouse when it was a bit cloudy this afternoon and decanted the bags of bird food I had into containers.
It was time for the cats flea treatments and I always dread it as Pandora freaks out whereas Blue just carries on with what she is doing, which today was eating! Pandora was fighting me as soon as I picked her up and in her frenzy caught my arm with her back legs - ouch!
Have been to see Sarah and David this evening.
Tina is going off to Orkney tomorrow, very early in the morning, I will get up to see her off.

  1. It looks a lovely morning by the sea. Well worth the walk there and back to see it before all the hordes descend on it!
The flowers in the memorial garden all look lovely, but I think out of the three the lilies are a winner for me. The daisy type ones are definitely a very close second, especially with the bee included.
The arm looks really painful! You should try wrapping a towel around her next time you try as it might contain her claws until you’re ready to put her down.
I bet Sarah and David enjoyed the scones, I’m sure the ones Tina takes won’t last very long either. Hope she has a nice time.
