Darren got us the bargain of the day though, two folding chairs, which we both use regularly, but these had more substantial cushioned seats. £8 for the two.
After lunch I went out into the summer house for a while, quite a lot of flowers to look at now.
I love this plant with the flower on a tall stem.
I took the proper camera out into the summerhouse, not a lot of bird activity and the flowers make it more difficult to see them clearly. But this one is reasonable.
I was watching the bees on the foxgloves and thought ai would try to zoom in on them. I was pleased when I got one in the picture!
Not sharp but clear what it is, but then I managed to catch this one.
The British Grand Prix was pretty exciting today which made a change.
After dinner Tina drove us down to the front, we put the car on charge and then had a bit of a walk and an ice cream. It was cooler as it had clouded over and a bit of a breeze from the sea.
Looks like you got some bargains from the boot sale. I’ve never heard of laid paper before, wonder what’s so special about that? The folding chairs were definitely a bargain for £8. It’s definitely worth going to these boots sales. I really must try to get to one myself.
ReplyDeleteYou have some great pictures on here tonight, I think the bee in-flight is definitely my favourite but I also really like the view from the summerhouse.
I did see a couple of clips from the Grand Prix on the news. I bet Max isn’t very happy! Lewis is a bad boy.
The front looks really nice this evening and very few people about which is always a nice bonus. Ice cream is always good too 😊
Did you know there’s a strange woman in a funny hat in one of your pictures? 😄
We do find bargains at the boot sales and we both enjoy spotting them.
ReplyDeleteIt is a good view from the summer house, we have enjoyed having it.
I was pretty pleased with the second bee photo.
