I mentioned the tiny ‘salt’ that we bought yesterday and have taken a picture, it is so unusual.
I did the usual morning shopping and even bought a small cake as it is Darren and Tina’s wedding anniversary today. The shopping was delivered and then Darren drove me over to Driffield for my second jab. After that Darren went along to an archery shop and I went in as well. I hadn’t realised that they made all sorts of animal targets and they have targets on them! A few pics from the store.
I have spent some of the afternoon watering the garden, even got the hose out. Had a break to watch the funeral and get dinner. Went back out again to finish off a bit later.ma couple of sky shots at different times.
We are going to give the boot sale a try tomorrow, I bet it will be busy. Talking of busy reminds me that on our way to Driffield this morning the queue of cars coming into Hornsea was about a mile long! Town and sea front are out of bounds in the day now!!
Pandora definitely doesn’t like it when you leave her home alone. I know Darren was there but you know what I mean. She obviously likes to punish you when you get back by staying away from you. You definitely look forgiven in that photo though.
ReplyDeleteI like the salt you bought. So much more refined than having a pot! 😊
Glad to hear you’re all dosed up with a vaccine. That should last you a while. Although they are talking about having a third booster jab as well as the yearly ones. But if it does the job I’m up for it.
I am surprised that they actually sell models of animals with targets on. I know people use archery for hunting, but we don’t have a lot of that in this country. You really must buy the crocodile though as it would look great in your garden 😀
Pleased to hear you’ve resisted any gardening, well the sort that involves hard work at least. Watering doesn’t really count. A weekend without anything too strenuous will do you good.
Love both of the final photos this evening. They’re really nice.
Going to a boot sale seems a thing of the past now. I imagine it will be heaving as everybody will be keen to go. Make sure you’ve got your masks with you!
I’m sure The businesses in Hornsea will appreciate the extra people, but I think staying away is in your best interests.
Quite a relaxing day really and I thought Prince Philips funeral was really lovely although the Queen cut a lonely figure as many people must have done in funerals this last year,
DeletePandora is on my rocking chair now still looking very content.
The flowers were starting to wilt, that would be a shame to lose them after all the work.
