Catching up!

Lovely weather today, warm in the sunshine but still pretty cold in the shade. First stop was Angie’s, Tina dropped me off there before ten nd then went off to visit her family for the day. I saw Angie’s summer house cum office which is very well fitted out now and means her ‘office’ is separate from her bungalow. We had a good natter and then she dropped me off in town so that I could go and meet Anya at Cathedral Square. We had a drink and then did a little shopping in Queensgate and then had a sandwich for lunch, we walked back via the cathedral to where Anya had parked the car and too a selfie without masks on this time!

Then we walked by the pretty Bishops Road gardens,

Anya dropped me off at Mike’s and we had a good natter and catch up, I got to see his new chair and his workbench which I had heard so much about, 

Rachel came and picked my up form Mikes and I spent a nice hour or so with her and caught up with her news. Hopefully before too long I can stay with them before too long.

We had arranged Tina would pick me up from there to meet up with Anya and Isobel at the rowing lake where we had a walk before having a meal at the Boathouse.

We had a lovely meal, but we were all pretty cold be the time we had finished! Some people had taken blankets with them which in retrospect seemed like a very good idea!

We had another little walk before heading home and I did get to have a photo with Isobel.

Back at the digs and in the warm with a hot cuppa! It has been a good day. Heading home tomorrow.
