Apart from going to the shop and general chores the morning was uneventful. After lunch Darren drove up to Mappleton so that we could see the sea there. It was very cold today so we wrapped up warmly. Couldn’t get a space in the car park so Darren dropped me off and went off to park near the church. A collection of photos including some of the fantastic rocks!
Darren spotted that bath!!
After dinner Tina suggested we go for a walk on the sea front. The tide was in and a storm was passing over!
Line of Duty in a while, should be exciting.
I like the large planter. I assume the wood on the top lifts off so that you can actually plant stuff in it. Handy it having two uses though.
ReplyDeleteIt’s nice that you managed to get out with Darren to Mappleton. It looks a glorious day and you have some great photos. I’m glad you put a lot on here tonight as it would be very difficult for you to pick and choose from them. The rocks are lovely. Bet they look even better when they’re wet as it would make the stripes stand out really well. I can’t believe someone dumped a bath there though!
Your second trip out looks like it was a totally different day. Very stormy and gloomy, but good for catching the waves in your photos.
Enjoy Line of Duty, it should be good.
They assemble it as a bench so it is hollow at the bottom, but then the legs will be in the air so we need to think how to use it!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures do look like two different days today, both interesting in their own ways though.
