National Mr Potato Head Day!

Where do these special days come from, it has been the most fascinating calendar!
This will be a very short entry, I did go to the shop fairly early and got lunch and some flowers to take to Carole at the hairdressers. She has been having a very difficult time with her teenage daughter and was very tearful when I s@w her at the boot sale on Sunday. She is still struggling but was pleased with the flowers and we had a natter and a laugh. Their dog Millie is a cutie and was doing very good two leg Santa ding today!
I have been messaging Paul who sold me the Davenport and as Tina would like to go to the auction in Scarborough tomorrow we are going to collect it.
So the rest of my day has been more sorting and deciding what furniture will go to the auction. Emptying drawers etc out meant I couldn’t see the bed again for a while, but as getting n to of it now! I did have a bit of a break when I did the dreaded exercise session. I have to brace myself as I really don’t enjoy it, but will endeavour to keep with the program at least until I go back to the physiotherapist. If she doesn’t detect any improvement I may struggle to keep to afterwards!
I will finish with a picture I took yesterday evening, it was zoomed so not totally sharp.
Should be a bit more variety on the blog tomorrow.

  1. It has been interesting your calendar of special days. As you say I have no idea where they dig them up from.
That dog is soooooo cute! I want one.
Great news that you’re getting the Davenport tomorrow. So much better than waiting a whole week! I hate waiting for things 😊 I suppose it’s encouraged you to do some more sorting, not that you needed lots of encouragement as you’ve been doing very well at that. I shall look forward to seeing a picture tomorrow night with it all in place and ready to use.
I really hope the exercises do help the legs as it would be sad to think you’ve gone through all that for nothing. But as you say you’ve got to give it until at least your next session with her to see. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

    1. She is a cute and very friendly little dog, stayed up on her back legs so that I could get a good photo.
I feel that I have made real progress with getting things sorted but still probably have more stuff than most people! Looking forward to having the Davenport,
