Filey Bird Garden and Animal Park

I have now spent an hour trying to get a post on line. Tina took me to the Filey Bird Garden and it was delightful. I took over eighty photos, have whittled them down, but they were on the good camera and I had almost finished and it deleted the post! Have tried working on the back ups to no avail. I will now try to do more that one post for today and see how we go, any more disappearing posts may have me giving up! Will start with the turkey mum and her babies and then just add photos if I can.
So far so good, will leave this one and start part two!

  1. Oh dear, how very frustrating blogging can be! I’d have thrown it out the window!
I’ve never before seen baby turkeys. They really are cute. It’s not going to stop me eating them at Christmas though, sorry 😊
The welly animals are great. Very inventive use of old wellies. Just goes to show that nothing should ever be wasted.
Such a variety of animals just on this post. I’ve not looked at the others yet. Will do and then reply on this one. If that makes sense.
Wow. What a really nice place to visit. You have some lovely pics of the multitude of things there. It looks a very nice place with the selection of animals, birds and plants. I can see why you want to go back. I would too. Shame it’s not a little closer to you and easier to get to by yourself, but it sounds like the Rev enjoyed it too, so I’m sure you’ll have a very willing companion to go with.
Lunch out and shopping too. You really made a day of it, and thoroughly enjoyed it all. Every day should be like that 😊

  2. Yes a very lovely place and a good day. I really wanted to get some pictures posted so stuck with the trials of the blogger app!
It is a family run place and was well organised and just a really lovely experience. There were other people there but plenty of room for social distancing.
That mother turkey was calling them and a couple went underneath her, it was so cute.
