Making masks and a while in the summer house

I did go to the local shop this morning, other than that I have not been out. I started getting the mask pieces sewn together before getting dinner earlier today as Tina was hoping to go away for a couple of days. Sadly she didn’t feel too well but seems a bit better now so with ouch she will go off for her break tomorrow. After dinner I went and sat in the summer house for a while. Some birds and some teasels, no more explanation  needed!

Took a different flower on my way back indoors, it has just started opening.
When I came back indoors I carried on with the mask making and managed to finish eight all with the new material I bought on Thursday.
Watching Maigret now!

  1. Well a day in wasn’t wasted. The masks look good and will get some good use from whoever is lucky enough to get one. Is that the first of a batch, or all you’re doing for now?
You’ve got some really nice pics tonight. I particularly like the ones of the teasels. They make a great subject matter. The red flower is a cream ket too. Very vibrant.
Hopefully you’ll get out for a while tomorrow if the knees are willing. If not there’s alway plenty to do at home.

    1. How cracker became cream ket is a mystery!

    2. I will probably make another batch, but may leave it a day or two.
I haven’t sat out in the summer house so much lately so it was a pleasant hour and I do love the teasels.
I am going to try and get to the post office tomorrow.
