I went out to make a start on clearing the bed where the fruit bushes are, as they are swamped by weeds and the raspberry canes are taking over.
Rob arrived to mow the lawns so I tidied my tools away and came indoors and worked on the masks for a bit. A package had arrived from me and it was the long anticipated elastic from China, it did not disappoint!
That should keep me going for a while........
After lunch I went back outside and although being fruit bushes still needs doing you can now see what is there and more importantly get to them.
Packing away I thought I should take a picture of the trough stand I bought earlier in the year as it is looking very colourful now.
At the moment I am undecided, the live life drawing program is on tv later, and have I got the energy or inclination to have another escapee walk!

Some really nice colour in your pics today. The first one is gorgeous. Looks like a glorious summers day, even though it has been a bit chilly today at times.

That is a large roll of elastic! You’re going to have to make a LOT of masks now! Glutton for punishment.
If you’re anything like me you’ll leave the decision about your evening activity until the very last moment. I’m such a ditherer.

DeleteThat laburnum is at its best now and with the green and the copper beech now coming into leaf it gives such variety.
