Bit hot for gardening!

Will start with a photo taken by Andrea who we went to Orkney with, she was out mega early and took this great shot of the bridge.
This morning I was up early as Steve was coming to dismantle the cross in the garden and to bring me some plants and he was due to arrive at 6.30 am. I had a couple of masks for Krissie to give him to take home. I went to the post box as a friend had sent me a cheque for WaterAid I needed to send off. I had sent her a couple of masks. Took a picture of the church on the way back.
I have quite a few plants as well as the pansies to find homes for now!
I did go out into the garden for a while this morning, the plan being to clear behind the fruit bushes. It was very hot so I only cleared near the back fence. Filled the pink trug and have a pile of stuff I dug out, really long way to go!

Pandora has really got the tree climbing bug, Blue followed her up today and they had a bit of a spat up there! Then Pandora went even higher.
The other day Tina sent for two little boxes, one for each of us decorate. I have painted mine today and decorated it, will varnish it tomorrow.
The watering of both gardens is done today and now I am relaxing. I didn’t sleep well last night and am feeling quite weary now.
I have now sent for two lots of interfacing, one lot was due by yesterday and the second one definitely due to arrive today. Neither of them have come which is a little frustrating! Maybe tomorrow!?

  1. That’s a great shot of the bridge. Very atmospheric. It’s a great structure to photograph. Your pic of the church is a nice one too. Nice light and colour.
That’s a lot of plants you have to put in. That won’t be a quick job. Lots of bending too. Best left until the knee is playing ball again. I knew you’d probably end up out there doing something again today, even though you said you wouldn’t. Glad you didn’t go overly mad with the amount you did.
Poor wildlife won’t be so safe now that Pandora has learnt how to climb trees! I just hope she doesn’t get stuck up there.
I like the box. A bit of varnish will finish it off nicely. What’ll end up in there?
Hope your parcels turn up tomorrow as I know you’re keen to get on with the new style masks. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

    1. I really liked the shot of the bridge, it is one of my favourite places.
Yes, a lot of plants, I think it may be cloudy in a couple of days, not great weather for planting out if it is like today.
No particular plans for the box, maybe tiny beads.
I am beginning to think I will never get any interfacing!
