So much pottery and material for the cupboard!

I wanted to get my tv magazine and a plant for Debbie who was bringing my pottery from the studio over today, but walked down to the sea first to get a reasonable start on today's exercise. A couple of pictures, both by buildings as I was trying to take photos not directly into the sun. The effect is good but I can't see what I am taking and they are often not straight then.

I went out into the greenhouse for a bit to do some potting on, there are still a lot of seedlings that need attention, the problem is I haven't got anywhere to actually plant them out yet.
I have had the little rabbit garden ornament in my sitting room for quite a while, since I mended it's broken back leg in fact. But today I thought it was time for him to go and and join the calf and lamb!!
I will probably bring them all in when the autumn arrives and wash and store them. Leaving them out during the winter would surely shorten their lives and spoil their appearance.
Debbie and Neil did bring a large box of my pottery over, Darren and I unpacked it so that they could see what they had delivered to me. There is a lot and I have a fair bit on show already. I may gather some pieces together that need new homes and post it to see if anyone is interested.
This afternoon I caught the bus up to Freeport and collected the material I had on one side. Five coordinated pieces and one that has gorgeous pigs on it. I am sure it will get used at some point in the far distant future but for now I will have to find space for it along with the pottery........
This evening I heard the doorbell and then Tina appeared with some beautiful flowers for me to show me that I am appreciated. They are absolutely beautiful and  I had emptied my vases yesterday.
They were wrapped with those colourful strands of raffia so I tied them round the vase as they were too pretty to bin.
Eurovision tonight and I am on the always watch it bench.

  1. A walk to the sea is such a great way to be able to start a new day. You’re so lucky.
You do very well to get straight horizons in all your pics. I never seem to manage it. I nearly always end up with it leaning to the left! You’d think after all these years I’d master it, but no. Thank heavens for photo editing software!
You’ve got quite a menagerie in that walled garden now. Angus from the other day would have fitted in a treat.
You do have a lot of ceramic pieces. They are all lovely though and deserve to be on show. You could do with a room just to display all your art and craft work. You’d fill it easily. Talking of craft stuff, I like the materials. My favourite is the butterfly one. Very cute.
Lovely flowers and a lovely thought to get them for you too.
Enjoy Eurovision, even though the presenter isn’t a tenth as good as Terry used to be! Me, not like Graham Norton, whatever makes you think that? :-)

  2. Will try to take a morning walk when I can, down to the sea is obviously a favourite choice. I haven't wandered down there so often lately.
Angus would have looked good, but he was furry so would have become very soggy.
I have the Christmas pieces I made at the pottery camp as well, I think we will put the large harvest scene plate up in the house somewhere.
The flowers are really lovely, I do like to have some flowers in the room.
Eurovision is starting, they are having a flag parade now.
