This morning I spent a couple of hours at the studio helping Sandy clean up after the builders had been in over the weekend, then we got everything put back that the tables in the shop set out ready for customers. I walked into town briefly afterwards but didn't stay long as I was feeling tired today.Cut through to look at the bay on the way back.
You could really see the fields across the cliff in the distance, and the castle and sky looked good too.

Nursed the cat for a bit when I came home and then finished off the squares for the quilt and then laid them out to decide on the final arrangement.
I spent a long time joining squares into rows and then the rows together. There are a lot of imperfect parts but one or two on the finished quilt are seriously out of kilter and I am very disappointed with it. Will finish it though as too much money and effort have gone into it!

  1. I'm not surprised you felt tired, you've been pretty busy lately. The view is enough to brighten anyone up though, and it was very clear today too.
The quilt looks good to me, and I'm sure to others too. I do know what it's like though when you've made something and been disappointed in it, as I've done it lots of times :-)

  3. It's sooo bad it took mum ages to find the imperfect bits...it looks really good despite her disappointment.
