I have had a pretty quiet day, still got the cough and Darren and Tina are both battling with infections as well. I got on with piecing together pieces for the latest quilt for a while. The Tina took me to Ramshill, as area I haven't been to before, to get meat for the weekend, but we also visited a little cafe called The Lupin I think, or was it Tulip, Tina will no doubt put me straight! Anyway, very pleasant little place. There are some great buildings in the area, obviously it was a very affluent part of town in days gone by.
I did a bit more to the quilt and then Tina took me to the craft shop as it was raining by then. Got some more wadding and had a nice cup of tea plus cake! Walked into town afterwards before heading home. The ankle is holding up pretty well today. which is a good. Back home to more sewing. I have now made up six of the blocks, but as I am having patterns on the front and back I have twelve more blocks to complete

  1. Nice house, it would make a good design for a dolls house. I assume Ramshill is an area of Scarborough, and not a village outside?
The new quilt is coming on nicely. Should be finished by the end of Easter :-)

  2. Yes, a part of Scarborough but a fair walk, Tina visits a rest home near there and knows the parking spots!
