Boot sale and a chirpy companion!

We went along to the boot sale, but there wasn’t actually anything on the field. We had breakfast in the market cafe nd had a bit of a look round the stalls that were open. The pond was frozen and the sky was lovely this morning.

The moon was still up when we arrived, took this pic with the blackbird in the tree as well.
I wore the colourful and very warm hat that Rachel gave me and bought a silly elf hat when we were out.
Tina hasn’t been very well today so I stayed in when Darren went off to a Christmas archery shoot. I did quite a bit of reading.
I did go out in the garden to clear the park near the garden bin. I had some company which made my day.

Ready for an evening of viewing now.

  1. You certainly are two hardy car booters! I have to say that it looks far better where you were than it was here. It’s been misty all day, so no nice skies like the ones you managed to capture. The pond does look extremely cold. Just heard on the news about several people falling through the ice whilst playing on a frozen pond ☹️
You have a fair collection of hats. The elf one is definitely you 😄
Hope you had a hat on while you were clearing the path as I’m sure it was bitter. Did you find any worms for your red breasted friend?
Hope the Rev is feeling a bit better now.

  2. It was cold but no wind which is what makes it really bitter.
The robin was finding grubs I think where I had moved the leaves. He was hopping around near me as sooon as I started.
I do have quite a collection of hats, I find if my head is warm I feel warmer all over!
