Rachel got her stuff gathered up and downstairs, ready for leaving a bit later, we went down to the sea front so that Rachel could see a puffin or two and we had a sausage sandwich at Lily’s. Quite a lively sea today and a bitter wind!
We did look at a couple of the puffins and then got ourselves back to the house. Rachel set off soon after that, it had been lovely to have her here for a couple of days,
I went and got some rolls for lunch and then I decided to go for a walk. I went up to Tesco and then onto the trail to make my way to the sea front and the library as the book I had ordered was in. Something major going on at a footpath along the way.
Another shot of the sea.
I collected my book and then walked back home.
I did a couple of chores in the garden and started to sort out what I was taking when we go down to Peterborough to deliver the cakes and also to see my sister and niece.
I don’t think we will try the boot sale tomorrow, we are expecting rain and we will be leaving after lunch.
Rachel got home sfely, I hope she will visit again now.
Some lovely sky and sea pics today. I really like the 3rd and 6th ones. Really good.
ReplyDeleteGlad your time with Rachel went ok. I’m sure she’ll be back again before too long. She knows the way now 😊 Nice you got to drag her to the front with you. Worth it for a sausage bap.
You’ve done a fair bit of walking again from the sounds of it. Bet it was cold up there, it certainly has been down here!
Hope your trip goes ok tomorrow. Take care with those cakes 😊
Fairly organised for tomorrow, the car will be considerably lighter on the way home!
ReplyDeleteThe sea was interesting today, great when it is lively.
