I got some lunch in the Food Shop which is usually very good. Today it was very disappointing so the birds got some extra food! I went for another short walk before we had lunch to see if I could find the cottage that Anya and family are staying in for three nights next week. It looks lovely and is about ten minutes walk away (well, ten minutes for them anyway!)
This afternoon Angela came in for a chat for a while, couldn’t talk her into taking a terrarium though.
Tina was off to a meal with the Rotary club so she suggested Darren took me out for fish and chips. The Sea Front Chippy wasn’t open so we actually went and sat inside Sullivan’s. Very quiet and we had a lovely meal.
The tidying has gone well and I have the latest charity shop stuff ready to go. The last part of Strike tonight.
It has been a lot warmer today. Which is good. It does make going for a walk much nicer and definitely a lot less slippery! I quite envy your friend going to Spain for a few months in a camper. I’ve always fancied one myself, although I’d happily stick to this country. So many nice places to see. Can’t see it happening now though.
ReplyDeleteThe sea does look a bit gloomy and uninviting today.
Pity your lunch didn’t turn out too well. Those birds definitely don’t need extra food, but I’m sure they enjoyed it.
I love that cottage. Such great shapes and lovely chimney pots. Very nice place to stay.
Sullivans do I nice meal. I’ve always enjoyed the ones I’ve had there. Being quiet makes it nicer too. No screaming kids 😄
Enjoy Strike. I can tell you how it ends if you like, it’ll save you watching it.
Just keep it to yourself!
