Sunday, Sunday

It rained in the night and it was still raining this morning when I was out in the dark feeding the birds. So we decided to give the boot sale a miss and I went with Darren to Lily’s cafe on the front for breakfast. We enjoyed our meal nd I decided to walk back. The bad weather was lifting and it did eventually turn into a pleasant day.

I went a short way along the trail to make the walk a bit longer. I hadn’t spotted these stencilled images on the bridge where you can take the route to the town.

I got dinner for lunch punch time today as Tina is on a training session this afternoon. When I took some stuff up to the garden bin this rather swish car was parked by the shops.
I sat and made some decorations for the cakes, haven’t decided quite how I will use them yet.
A bit of reading and a bit of tv this afternoon, may do a bit of pedalling in a bit.

  1. Shame you didn’t get to the boot sale, but breakfast with Darren is still a good result.
The weather here was much the same. Miserable to start with but cheered up into a reasonable day. Nice that you managed to get out for a few stops without getting completely soaked! The shoreline looks a bit “British” today. You could add a few images to the bridge. It’s really lacking an arachnid 😄
That car is very posh, very clean too. It’s probably someone’s toy that only comes out once a week then is washed and put away.
You’ve got a lot of cake decorations there, but you do have a lot of cakes to sort out. I said they were finished the other night, but I forgot about decorating them. Nearly there 😊
Don’t go mad with the pedalling.

  2. It would have been cold and very muddy at the boot sale, that is if anyone had even bothered to turn up, so the breakfast was a much better idea!
Not a bad day, quite lazy really and going to read for a bit now!
