Trip out and then more letter delivering

Angela called for me just after ten today and we went to two different garden centres. Coffee and catch up at the first and then lunch at the second! A couple of Christmas shots from the first stop!

I bought this advent box thing at the first one, it was reduced again to £12. Though I could put a couple of sweets in each box for Darren and Tina to enjoy in December!
Just a picture of Holly from the second one, Angela looks after her quite often, shews very well behaved.
This afternoon I spent getting on for an hour delivering a few more letters for Tina. I had to go near the park that used to have views of the beer. I walked to the part I had been to before, but even with the phone held as high as I could I just got the weeds, the mere was behind them!
Coming down Southgate I took a picture of this mosaic, have seen it many times, not sure I have taken a picture of it before.
In my head I had an ide for making a twig tree with canes nd set about covering some with brown florist tape, so far so good,
I had cut them all to roughly the same size. Actually trying to carry my plan out, or to make a start, I think it is going to be one of those things which seemed like a good idea at the time!
Off to see Sarah and David this evening, wonder what the chat will be about.🤷🏼‍♀️

  1. I’m sure you post pics of Christmas decorations at garden centres just to depress me 😊 Although those don’t seem so glittery and over the top like most do. It should be a law that garden centres can’t do Christmas decorations until the last week in November! I do like your advent calendar though. You’ll have to find some unusual sweets to put in it.
Holly looks a very cute little dog. I want one 😄
More letters! How many does she have?
I don’t remember seeing a pic of that mosaic before, but you know what my memory is like!
I’m sure the twig tree will turn out perfectly. I have ideas that seem really good at the time too. Some of them work, and sadly others don’t. I’m sure yours will, and they do say the fun is in the trying……….
Hope you enjoyed your chat about politics and our new Prime Minister. Only the third one in about two months 😂

  2. She is a cute little dog, Angela has her quite regularly.
I really liked the first Christmas display, although I agree it is much too early!
Will look at the tree experiment another day I think!
