Keep on walking

This morning I went for a walk to Freeport but by a slightly different route as Tina had some letters to be posted. So I went along Newbegin to the post box and then carried on to Witty’s Passage. Not the most attractive walk but then you arrive at the trail.




I decided to to go the longer way and went along the road rather than the cut through, the walk up to the shops is quite pleasant.
I had a drink and went into a couple of shops. I had seen a picture I really liked at the Gift Company when I went there with Darren a few days ago and went in and bought it today, a bit awkward to carry home as it is long!
Came back along Polly’s Path as usual.

After lunch Darren and I went up to the garden centre and had a drink and a look round. Had to take a picture of the reindeer who are on show again!
Tina went to the shop and brought back some flowers for me.
Went round to see Sarah and David for a while and will be off for my follow up appointment at the hospital in a bit. A reasonably busy day today.

    Witty’s Passage looks ok. Reminds me of Coronation Street 😊 That really is a nice walk to Freeport. I’d quite enjoy that.
    I like the bee picture. Should look good on the wall, if you have any space left for it! You may have posted it twice by mistake instead of one of Polly’s Path.
    What is it with garden centres and Christmas decorations? I went to Van Hage the other day and it was like a winter wonderland! Was glad to get out of there 😊
    Nice of the Rev to get you flowers. Very nice bunch too. Good job you have all those vases.

    Have replaced the duplicate photo with the correct one!
    It was a longer walk with the route I took today, so beginning to build it up a bit.
    A very sunny bunch of flowers.
