Windy and wet walk!

Pandora loves sitting with me or near me and looked so comfy on the bed this morning while I had my cuppa and did some daily puzzles!
This morning I watch Strictly one catch up, not quite such good dances this week, had a chat with Anya and dropped something off at the parish hall. It was raging quite heavily.
After lunch I thought I would go for a walk despite the rain and Tina had some letters that needed dropping off round the town so off I went. It was wet, windy and pretty cold. After about forty minutes I ended up at the floral hall and stopped for a drink and warm up. The sea was still quite rough but the rain had stopped by the time I came out.

I cooked some hassleback potatoes in the Ninja and kept the warm while cooking chicken breasts and stuffing balls. Only two of us today, probably a bit of a stretch for three.
Tina had been out delivering some more letters when the rain stopped and took this unusual sunset pic,
Have seen the Strictly results so maybe read for a bit now.

  1. Pandora always looks comfy. Wish I was a cat. I can never get 100% comfy no matter how I sit or lay.
I still haven’t watched any of Strictly. Doubt I will now as I’ve missed so much of it.
Fancy walking in the rain delivering letters for the vicar! Admit it, you’re just edging your bets and trying to reserve a spot in heaven in case it really does exist 😂 Either that or you’re just mad! From the pics it does look rather wintery. I don’t blame you stopping for a drink.
The hasslebacks look good. I’ve only ever done them a few times, but they’re nice. Lashings of butter melted over them…… I’m hungry now.
I though Tina’s pic was a fire when I first looked. Hope she wasn’t driving when she took that!
A bit of a relaxing read sounds a good plan. I think you’ve done enough exercise for one day, or even two!

  2. Settled in bed with the hooded blanket now, cuppa, novel and puzzle book handy!
I got quite wet but was almost dry when I got home!
