Tina is involved with a Halloween party on o day night and I have been making spiders for one of the games. She had a bag of different pipe cleaners! Pandora loved them and they kept her entertained for some time!
The curtain pole was put up yesterday so Darren hung the long curtains I made from four curtains up today, should make a huge difference in that sitting room.
I am still battling with the tree, and have looked to see how many hand made decorations I have! Plenty it seems and I have knitted about two feet of tinsel now! I also got the hedgehog motif made up into a cushion cover!
So a pretty productive day and off to make an open terrarium or two this evening, one to one with the instructor as the other ladies cancelled.
It was a shame you didn’t get to see a nice sunrise, but I’m sure the walk did you good…..maybe 😊 Does look a bit bleak, but still nice scenery.
ReplyDeleteThe leaves soon end up on the ground. When I go to town in a morning the street cleaners are out with their hoover trucks sucking piles of leaves up, but the next time you look there’s just as many! Be a shame when the trees are all bare though.
I love the pipe cleaner spiders. They’re very cute. I can see why they kept Pandora amused. Did she pinch one?
The curtains turned out well. Should be good for the winter now. Maybe save a bit o gas as you won’t need so much heat in there.
I think the tree is going to work well. Think positive. Should look nice with all those handmade ornaments on, very unique. Unique tinsel too 😂 Thought there’d be a pic. Bet you’re waiting until the whole thing is done and decorated.
The hedgehog cushion looks quite big considering you had to get a smaller blank. How big was going to be originally?
You never stop. If you’re not making something then you’re out learning how to make something else! I’ll look forward to seeing that tomorrow too.
Quite a busy day, and the evening had a very enjoyable time making open terrariums, pics tomorrow.
DeletePandora played with some of the sparkly pipe cleaners, not the spiders!
The tree is drying again, tomorrow we will see how strong it is!
