Painted pottery collected.

I will start today with a stylised photo thanks to Google Photos. I don’t often save on but this was a rather grey shot a few weeks back.
These days I spend a fair bit of time sitting in bed, before I settle down and again in the morning when I am up before the crack of dawn. I do nod off occasionally but it is comfy as the hand doesn’t usually start to g numb before I lie down! Pandora has a knack of realising I am there and spends a lot of time sprawled out on me!  This was very early this morning.
Tina had another negative test today so I decided to catch the but up to Freeport to collect the pottery we had painted while Anya, Louis and Isobel were up here. I took a couple of photos, one while waiting for the bus and the other when I arrived. Bit of almost monochrome makes a change!

I walked up to Pound Stretcher and then had a coffee before collecting the pottery. Louis painted a Father Christmas tree decoration which is brilliant. Isobel pained a stunning trinket box and Anya and lovely vase. I painted a silly duck to lower the tone!

Tina is feeling a bit better but I noticed nice cauliflowers at Countdown and we have a surplus of milk so I said I would make cauliflower cheese for tea.
I went over there when I got home and ended up buying a little evergreen tree, well, more like a branch, that was reduced.
I have done a bit more to the jigsaw, I have started one of the kingfishers as the task of the water is very challenging!
I will probably go to the leisure centre in the morning, to walk in the water I’d not to swim!

  1. Google does come up with some good ideas for styling pics. That looks really nice. The colours really suit it.
Sitting in bed is nice at times, but not so good when you have to do it because of the hand. It seems that Pandora thinks you should definitely do it ๐Ÿ˜ŠShe’s like your shadow at times!
Glad to hear Tina appears to be negative for Covid. You could all do without having to isolate. At least you managed to get out and about today. I really like the monochrome…ish pic of the trees. I think it’s really good. Others will say “it’s just a tree”, but I don’t care ๐Ÿ˜Š
I think all the pottery items are great, but I have to say the Father Christmas ornament has to take the prize. Definitely a family heirloom to be used on the tree each year. The duck just says it all really ๐Ÿ˜„
The jigsaw ๐Ÿงฉ is definitely going to drive you insane or to drink, one or the other!
Water walking is very good for you, so swimming isn’t a priority. I’m sure you’ll get back to it eventually though. No rush.

  2. The pottery painting was a real success and we all enjoyed sitting there together I think we may do it again when the family are up here.
Jigsaw may soon be a forbidden word in the vicarage!
