Catching up with friends

As Tina has been poorly and we weren’t 100% sure she didn’t have Covid I haven’t seen Bel or Sarah and David for a couple of weeks, so today was catch up day. I was up early again nd have tried the new support pillow twice without a lot of success, maybe it will be third time lucky tonight! I fed the birds and went to the post box early as I wanted to catch the early collection. Nice to have a chat with Bel and did a bit of her jigsaw with her. We have arranged to go to the pottery painting studio next Tuesday, I know she is really keen to have a go.
I have too many jackets that I don’t use so put them in the washer and will drop them off to a charity shop when they are dry.
I went to Eastfield garden centre with Sarah and David, we had a coffee and then had a look round. I bought a new squirrel resistant peanut feeder, quite a posh one! The little birds have never used any previous one, but worth another attempt!

Another almost sepia photo that I took while hanging it up this afternoon.must be the light affecting the photos, they have been very clear winter days.
Got the Meat Loaf cd out today, that livened my up a bit!

  1. Glad the Rev didn’t have Covid in the end, but it wasn’t worth meeting people and taking the risk. At least you’ve caught up today though. Hopefully Tuesday will go ahead ok next week and nothing will end up putting it off. I think you’re both looking forward to it. If it’s a hit with Bel it could become regular.
That does look a very posh feeder. I really hope the birds use it. Can’t see why they wouldn’t, but judging by the collection of them you having hanging already I’ll bow to your better knowledge 😊
That’s a lovely pic to finish with. I’d be tempted to crop off the greenhouse roof in the bottom corner.
    Shame about Meatloaf ☹️

  2. It was good to catch up and maybe now get back to the new normal.
I will report back on the usage of the feeder, or not!
