Not quite so lazy!

I was up at silly o clock again but it gave Pandora an excuse to be n my lap for ver an hour while I was sat in bed! Darren and I went down to Lily’s cafe for breakfast and we ordered a take away bacon sandwich for Tina. I walked back from the seafront and of course took some pics before heading home.

Tina hasn’t been at all well again today, she managed half the bacon sandwich but after another bout of sickness she has stayed off the food for the rest of the day. I have h ad a few short sessions on the jigsaw, I have now had to resort to shape recognition! Every piece in place is one less to have to check next time!
After lunch I did go out in the garden for a while. I righted the swing which has been lying down on the jab for some time now, blown over in the storms!
I just tidied up on bed so some pruning and hoeing, but not too much as it still makes my wrists ache at the moment.

Before dinner and briefly again after I have been working on the quilt. Another quest, as despite the breaking thread I will finish this too!
I am on to the centre shapes now, so something else to challenge my wrists when trying to manoeuvre the quite large quilt.
Going to watch Vera now. Think I will be keeping an eye on Tina tomorrow and fielding phone calls!

  1. The silly o’clock thing is becoming the norm very quickly. Let’s hope you eventually manage to get back to a normal…ish routine.
Sunday breakfast is always nice as you manage to get out for it. Shame Tina couldn’t make it. I hope you soon feels better. Sounds like you’re on personal assistant duties tomorrow.
I really like the second pic tonight.
The jigsawing seems to be getting worse by the day. Having to resort to shape recognition must be the final resort as I can’t think of a lower step than that 😊🧩
I’m amazed you still found time, or the inclination to do gardening and quilting too. Thought I’d been reasonably busy, but I’ve only managed one thing 😊

  2. Bit busier today and feel better for it. Whether I stay awake through Vera is another matter!
Definitely scraping the barrel with the shape recognition!
