I was up at six again, I used the splint last night and I think it may have helped a bit so will try again tonight. So much like yesterday, I had a cuppa in bed, had a shower, sorted cats and birds and set off for the seafront again. Very clear light today and a lovely morning. I hung around for a while and I really have deleted a lot of photos!
I have had a couple of short sessions on the jigsaw and got a few pieces put together, little and not to often is the order of the day!
Every year I put Christmas cards on one side that people have written messages in and I intend to reply. Every year that doesn’t happen! So today I made the effort and actually wrote ten short notes to people, most that I haven’t seen for many many years. I had a package to send as well and our local shop keeps the post office counter open every day. So I took a walk to the post office, which is when I took the picture of the pond, got the package handed in ready to be mailed tomorrow and posted the letters. Making good use of the new Fitbit so far!
I am writing the blog early as I will be going to see Sarah and David this evening. Darren andTina are off to the cinema soon which is a good way to end off the New Year break.
Will see if I can manage to take non sunset pictures tomorrow.
There’s nothing wrong with lots of sunset pictures. They may seem “samey” to some people, but they are always different day to day. So you won’t bore me with them 😊 My favourite of them today is actually the last one. But having said that I’d be glad to have taken any of them.
ReplyDeleteYou are keen with that jigsaw, but I suppose the quicker it gets done the better 😉
You’re very organised at the moment, ticking off jobs one by one. Not putting things off until tomorrow…….like some of us do! Hopefully you’ll find the energy and enthusiasm to continue through the year, we’ll see.
Hope you had a good visit with Sarah and David.
I may start sleeping in and not get to see the sunrises, you never can tell!
ReplyDeleteSo far so good with trying to be more organised. I will make the most of it while it lasts.
