The bus driver was very helpful, so got off at the right place and was in time for the appointment. Very well planned out waiting area.
After half an hour I was thinking of asking if they had forgotten me when I was called in. Pleasant young doctor went through all the history again and did some manual tests on my reactions. As my symptoms are severe steroid injections were not advised so I will have the surgery, right hand first and hopefully in about a month. When I came out it was pretty cold and there was almost an hour toy wait for a bus home so decided to catch the next bus into Hull. That went round the houses and took over half an hour. I had some lunch and called in at Vodafone who still couldn’t sort my phone out as the contract ends tomorrow!
Took this photo on the way home as I liked the reflections of the traffic lights, I know, little things and little minds and all that!
Haven’t done much else, I was really poorly yesterday evening, a reaction to the booster jab I think. Am going round to see Sarah and David as usual this evening.
That’s a lot of time to be travelling on buses. Very boring. At least you got to the appointment in time, which is good. The waiting room seems a bit over the top. Spacing and screens. Are we ever going to get back to some sort of normality? Glad they agreed to the surgery. Fingers firmly crossed that it makes a difference for you. Then you can have the other one done!
ReplyDeleteI looked at the tree pic several times trying to work out what the red and amber was. Then I read the text 😊 Should have done that first.
Hope you enjoyed your visit this evening. I’m sure you’ll be ready to relax for a while when you get home.
It was a bit boring and tiring, but worth it. Will be good to get something done, this has been dragging on for the best part of two years.
ReplyDeleteMice to be home, hot drink and mindless TV before bed!
