A walk in the park

I did literally take a walk in the park this afternoon so wasn’t referring to the surgery although all is going well on that front. My night wasn’t too bad, trying to keep one hand on pillows and the other hanging over the side of the bed was challenging!
I did catch up with a couple of episodes of Shetland so can watch it tomorrow evening. As I can’t write letters, do puzzles or crafts took myself out for a short walk, ending up in the park. Took some photos while I was there.

Have kept the arm elevated and realised just how useless I am when using just my left hand! Also in danger of getting bored! Visiting a couple of friends tomorrow so not so much time to fill, then the next day I may be able to use the hand a little.
Still feeling positive about the outcome.

  1. It’s going to be even harder for someone like yourself as you’re so used to be constantly doing something. It’ll all be worth it in the end though. Should make things a lot easier for you, specially when you’ve had them both done. In the meantime you’re going to be crawling the walls with boredom! But you never know you might get to enjoy sitting around doing nothing all day. Could be the start of a nice easy life 😊
At least you have the park nearby and the seafront isn’t too far either. So could be worse I suppose. Just take it easy out. We don’t want anything slipping or tripping!
It’s good to hear you’re feeling positive still. I’ll ask you again in a few days 😄
    Take it easy.
