Took another photo, a close up of one of the flowers inside the grounds.
On the way back she stopped next to a field near Atwick so that I could take a picture of this bear from the window!
This afternoon I tackled the out house, I didn’t take a picture before I started and when I took this one with stuff piled outside I had already got rid of a lot of stuff. It had got to the point where I could find any tools and I knew that the roof leaked which gave me little incentive to make a start!
I found this little planter that I bought a long time ago and decided to do something with it before it rots away completely!
Can now get into the little outhouse and see what is there!
I did get a line of washing dried outside today which is always good and this evening I have watered both gardens. Will be watching Holby in a bit.
It’s nice to get out for a while with this lockdown situation. I suppose a crematorium is as good a place as any to visit! Nice grounds though, and I love the rows of daffodils at the entrance. Made for some nice photo ops other than the garden. You’ll be glad when you can get out and about again and start snapping away.
ReplyDeleteThe teddy bear is fantastic. What a great thing to make. Hats off to the farmer for that.
Are you sure that shed isn’t a Tardis? It doesn’t seem possible that that pile of stuff came out of there! Does look a lot neater now you’ve done, and it also meant you got that lovely planet out of there. A rub down and some blue preservative, it’d look even better.......just saying 😊
I did think I could paint it after I had put the plants in. May do that for next year as we have pint over.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to get a drive out, and as you say, something different and attractive to take pictures of.
I agree, we spotted the bear on the way out and I asked her to stop on the way back as it deserved having a picture taken.
There was so much stuff piled in the store that you could barely open the doors without something falling out!
