This afternoon I made a card which cannot go on the blog just yet and then coloured one of the black images. I really do like the effect I get with my lovely pencils from America.
Before dinner, which was a very nice curry made by Tina I went out to water the garden early as it is not sunny, it had actually been very cold today. I took a couple of closer pictures of my bonsai trees, the one in the middle of the fist picture is the most ‘tree like’ one with lots of branches and small leaves. The second one is my oldest tree, I am fairly sure I started that one off when I was in Kent and I moved from there in 2003!
The only other picture tonight is of the Brunnera plant, it is getting quite spectacular. It is called ‘Jack Frost’ and last year in the autumn the leaves were magnificent after the flowers had finished. The cowslips in front are dying off now, but they have been pretty spectacular.
Last part of The Nest tonight, it has been a really good series and is keeping me guessing until the end!
Not a good start to the day for you. Hopefully it was just a one off and not a sign that you have to have both done at once. That would be a pain, pardon the pun. But if you managed a walk around the garden then it must have settled ok.
ReplyDeleteHandy having someone looking in your garden, possibly with binoculars. Tell the Rev no more naked sunbathing 😊 Good they’re getting as much pleasure from the birds as you do. You should get them to go halve in the cost of the food!
Those bonsais have done very well over the years, and they’ve travelled a few miles too. They’re looking good though, and quite tree like.
Those black images were a great find. You’ve had fun colouring them and they’ve made great cards.
Enjoy the conclusion of the program tonight. Hope it all makes sense in the end.
I am happy when the trees come into leaf after I have attacked their roots! I know they need it but it still makes me anxious. Would be a shame if I killed them off now.
ReplyDeleteI am pleased that the man gets enjoyment from the birds, especially now we are in lock down. Probably points them out to their little girl too.
I do enjoy colouring those black images, still have a few to do!
