Nice to see the sea at Scarborough North Bay.
We all stayed on the beach for a while, it was fun, I did go down and paddle with Isobel andTina went down with her a bit later.
Tina went off to meet her friend Debbie for a bit, Isobel and I stayed a bit longer then packed up and went to the park. We weren’t there long as they were making everybody leave to get ready for the Naval Battle show.
We had time for Isobel to climb up those steps though! So we went in search of a cafe, the one near the park was heaving, we were near where I used to live so Isobel said can we walk past your old house. We did walk up Woodall Avenue and then along to The North Bay cafe where we often had breakfast!
Then we walked back to the park, found a place to sit and settled down to watch the Naval Battle. Tina was going to meet us there.
Now a few pics of the iPad will let me of the ships. I was using the phone today.

Looks like a great day was had by all. Apart from Anya who was working 😊 Isobel really does love the beach and the sea. Couldn’t be doing with all that sand in my toes and covering my legs. Hope the water was warm to wash it all off.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see Scarborough again and a few of your old haunts. The park is always lovely and the sea battle is fun. A meal at the bay cafe was also a great idea. I used to love the food there.

It was a great day yesterday, think we are all tired so it will be a bit quieter today. It was lovely to be wandering around Scarborough again.
