One of Tina with Rita and Gail.
Some weeks ago I planted an acre tree into the garden which I had in a pot. It was not looking happy and one side looked dead, but now that side is full of pinkish leaves.
This evening I went along to Wassand Hall with Tina to a Mother’s Union meeting, we walked through the walled gardens to get to the conservatory where the meeting was being held.
Then a few of us had a stroll along the woodland walk.
A lovely evening and a very pleasant walk. We liked this tree which was well protected, there is a label so I can look it up.
We had very tasty refreshments and of course a raffle, Tina and I both had a winner, most people did and we both chose something edible for
Darren!
Another full and varied day for you. It’s good though as you certainly don’t get chance to get bored! The pics from the phone are really good. Amazing how much technology they cram into a phone these days. Never an excuse not to get pics these days. The sea looks really inviting, specially in the weather we’ve been having. Bet it a bit cold once you get in it though. I really like the pic of the flower archway. You could do with one of those in front of the summerhouse.
ReplyDeleteYou are so jammy when it comes to raffles. You seem to win something in everyone you enter. You should start trying to do that with the lottery 😊
An interesting day and nice to be walking about in the good weather.
ReplyDeleteThe grounds at the hall were lovely and I am glad some of us took the woodland walk.
There were lots of small prizes in the raffle today so nearly everybody was lucky!
