I was quite achey when I got back but Tina and I did walk around the town as it was the Hornsea Art Society exhibition and a lot of venues had open studios as well. It was very interesting and we saw some great art work.
When I was going to get tea I noticed Blue, not the brightest cat in the world, had settled herself in a container that did have tulips in, quite a small container!
After dinner Tina needed to drop some stuff off at Skipsea church and then we drove back via the sea. We went through some torrential rain but it had stopped by the time we were by the sea though. It was misty and the air was steamy, still quite uncomfortable.
Resting the knees now that haven’t fully recovered from me throwing myself on the concrete a couple of days ago!
Hope the knee feels a bit better tonight. No more fighting with concrete this close to going to America. It always wins!
ReplyDeleteThe birds on the station are nice. I wonder if they were done as part of a group project. A bit like the mosaic you contributed to in Scarborough.
What a stupid cat. That cannot be a comfortable position to sit in! Weird creatures cats are.
A bit cooler by the sea is good. We’ve had rain here for the past few hours, so it’s cooled a bit here too. A bit of snow would be good though 😊
Enjoy a bit of feet up time with the telly.
I seem to have been busy, but got a few things done which was good, and although it was tiring walking round the different venues there was some great art and craft to see.
ReplyDeleteNice to round off by a look at the sea.
