Great sea colours and naughty ice cream!

This morning I was up early fed birds and cats and di some chores and then went round to Sarah and David’s to help Sarah pack kitchen stuff as they are having a new kitchen fitted next week.a lot of chatting but a lot of packing up done too. When I came back Tina’s guests were here and had a different tree climber today, made a change from the squirrels and occasionally the cat!
It was a lovely day again so I took a walk down to the sea, I got goose pimples there as the wind off the North Sea was really cold, didn’t stop me having an ice cream though!
Some reall green in the sea again today, photos don’t always do it justice!

A couple of cloud ones for a change, the first one looked like we may get that rain, sadly not to be, the second one I Houston liked the effect of sun behind and viewing it from a shelter.

Walking home I spotted these low growing lilies in the memorial garden.
We all had tea together, the cottage and fish pies were well received.
I watered the front garden and dug up some plants for Sam, one of Tina’s friends to plant in their garden.
Long day and quiet evening now.

  1. That’s is a long old day, and you’ve done quite a lot too. Pleased to see it included a visit to the front and an extremely pink ice cream. Doesn’t look too chilly in the pics, and although the sea looks quite inviting I bet it’d be damn cold in there. You don’t seen to get the mad surfers there like you did in Scarborough. That’s a very funky cloud. Can’t decide which pic of it a prefer.
I love the lolly. They really are pretty flowers. You know I’m not a plant person really, but I’d happily have a garden full of them.
Glad the pies went down well, I thought they might. You’re not a bad cook 😊

  2. Couldn’t think where I had mentioned a lolly then realised the auto check had kicked in!
They were lovely and I have never seen them so short before, made them quite a dramatic display.
There are surfers in Hornsea, I think they may be at the other end where I don’t often go.
