Off colour day!

I haven’t slept at all well for a couple of nights and I have felt very tired today and not too sharp! Darren and Tina have been unwell so maybe I have a touch of the lurgi, will hopefully feel more motivated tomorrow. I did do some hand washing this morning, used the fabulous spinner and got it dry out on the line.i went to the shop to get something for lunch and on the way back saw that the lavatera I planted in the autumn has grown and is flowering. I haven’t seen a white one before, very pretty.
I dd go into the garden this afternoon, to sit in the summer house not to do anything energetic, not a lot of bird activity today but will post one of a blue tit and then three of a fabulous crow.

The will dragonfly looks good in the garden.
Another funky yellow flower has opened.
The sweet williams are looking fabulous.

The yucca put the front are flowering, that is quite exciting!
There is a large allium it the flower bed in the back garden a bit like a starburst.
Last bit of excitement, gooseberries! Not enough for a pie or crumble, but it was a very tiny plant when it went in last autumn.
Football soon, come on England!!

  1. Maybe they have passed bugs on to you. A good nights sleep would probably help though. Fingers crossed you get one tonight.
Lots of nice pics again this evening. You really do have some nice plants in your garden. All the work does pay off, but it doesn’t make it any easier.
I love gooseberry pie with oodles of custard. I think we used to have some in the garden here, but I’ve not noticed them lately.
Enjoy the football. USA are supposed to be very good, but you never know.

    1. I can see a lot of weeds, big too, maybe I will feel inclined to tackle some tomorrow.
Have watered tonight, so they will be even bigger! We have got some great plants and flowers though.
Football is pretty good so far.
