Boot sale, gardening and great sport on tv!

This morning Darren and I went along to the boot sale, got a few bits, a couple of jigsaws, a shove halfpenny board, thrilled with that, I used to have one years ago. Will take a picture when it is cleaned up and ready for a game. Also a lovelybakingdishfor 20p, picture later. Also got some
I tire frames and have already got one filled and on the wall!
It is at the top of the first lot of stairs and looks good just there.
I went out in the summer house for a bit and tried taking some pictures without the monopod. The sparrow takes centre stage today.

And one tit as they are always about.
On my way out to do a bit of gardening I took a couple of close ups of the funky daisy.

This plant was fairly small and had just a couple of flowers last year, this year it is bit a full of blooms!
Between preparing and cooking dinner I saw Louis win the British Grand Prix, a truly fantastic Wimbledon Men’s final and a nail biting end to the Cricket World Cup. I made a crumble for dessert using the expensive 20p dish!
It turned out well, a very nice shaped dish.
The tin man is still in one piece which is good.

  1. Lots of good swag from the boot sale. The pictures look good in that frame. I’ve still only got around to using two of the frames I bought a week ago and they’re not even on the wall. You put me to shame. Looks like you’ve got some more good ones today too. You’re getting extremely good at hand held zooms now. A couple of those would be good in frames.
When I first saw the daisy I thought it was a sunflower. That’s why I’m not a gardener!
Really like the 20p dish, and a bet Darren liked the crumble.
Sounds like the oiks are being respectful of the tin man. That’s good.

Nice to get some of the bird prints into a frame, she had two of those, wishI had bought them both now!
Good to get a decent close up of one of the sparrows.
The crumble was tasty, we all enjoyed it.
