I got on with weeding between the pavers in the walled garden. We moved the patio set into that area and used sharp sand round the paving slabs near the front.
Earlier this morning I had finished bagging up snowdrop bulbs and made a sign, fingers crossed they will sell.
The gourds are loving their position in the garden, the actual plants are huge and there are a few gourds forming.
This lovely daisy flower has appeared in one of the hanging baskets.

A few chores in the house and I halve been getting ready for my weekend away. Setting off on Friday this time.
Blimey, that does look extremely neat and tidy. I’m impressed with the work you’ve put into it. Consider the lack of rain lately everything looks reasonably green too.
ReplyDeleteI really hope it proves to be a popular day and lots of folks turn up......and they all buy a bag of bulbs too :-)
Hopefully the weekend won’t be quite as hectic.
I do think that it looks pretty presentable now, worth the effort. I do hope that the garden party is successful.
ReplyDeleteWeekend shouldn’t be too bad, as long as the trains behave.
