Short and sweet

I went into town quite early but not to swim today. I went down to Boyes, hoping they had Christmas backing paper to use in the cards I am making, but they haven't got any in yet. I bought a few other bits and pieces and some snacks for Tina and I to take with up when we head off to Holy Island tomorrow. The sunflowers at the top of the road are huge now!
Not sure about that mist spot, it was a damp day though! Tina is on holiday from today so we went to Betton Farm for lunch, I had a really nice ham salad. The view from the terrace there is pretty good.
The rest of the day has been getting sorted and helping Tina get shopping for food as she is on a charity trip this coming weekend and is doing the catering for maybe as many as thirty people. We got a lot of shopping in two different stores!
So, will keep it short today, hopefully some nice shots of Holy Island tomorrow.

  1. Stop reminding everyone it's nearly Christmas, it should be against the law until the end of November :-)
That sunflower is huge! Bet it's staked up or it'd fall over. The spot on the pic looks like light glare to me, so might not be misted.
All in all you've had a busy day one way or another. You're due a couple of days away now for a rest. Take it easy and enjoy it, both of you, while Darren slaves away at work :-)

  2. We will enjoy it I am sure, not sure the cats will though as there will be no one around in the day to tend to their needs!

    1. They're big healthy cats, I'm sure they'll survive, and Darren will cater for them.....maybe :-)
