Elegant lady, hopefully!

I took some more pictures of the sunset through the rainy window, makes them different anyway.

I caught the bus this morning and pool. The rude man was in today but another lady and I carried on swimming and definitely made his usual use calm down a bit. I did have ten minutes on my own before I got out which is lovely as I float and 'cycle' lying on the water!
I walked to the studio, filled the pots but it was much quicker today as I think they had a quieter week last week. So I finished the lady ornament. She will be fired tomorrow night.

On the way there I have seen these great pig ornaments, nice, but expensive, and I am not tempted as I have enough pigs already!
I walked home from the studio and was in time for my doctors appointment. Not sure how I feel about the results of the x-ray. The doctor said that he couldn't see an avulsion fracture but the soft tissue has fluid in it and he said he could see some calcification. That is odd as that is what the surgery was removing. Two weeks now and I am hoping the consultant will be a bit more specific, because I am most definitely not imagining the pain in the ankle!
Mike made a suggestion that I try doing a poppy field in pyrography, so I have amused myself trying just that this afternoon!
Holby and Dr Foster tonight, but Holby could be shelved this week as one of the main actors daughter was murdered at the weekend.

  1. Some more great skies through the wet window. I really like the first one, it looks a bit like a UFO hanging there.
The lady should look good when it's glazed and fired. The question is, what's next? The poppy field had turned out well, and I mentioned it in passing last night! Think my next suggestion is going to be.......The Last Supper. That'd keep you busy for a while :-)
I really do hope the surgeon has some good diagnoses and remedies for you when you get to see him. They MUST be able to do something with it. Fingers firmly crossed.
Love the pigs by the way, but they are extremely expensive!
