Truly awful day today. Tina dropped me in town so that I didn't have too far to walk before the appointment at the chiropractor. The wind was so icy and so strong it was like having brain freeze on the outside walking into it! The appointment was just an assessment, but I think it may be hopeful, I have an actual appointment on Monday and he has given me an exercise to do before I return. I braved the ferocious wind to get to the craft shop and then realised I had left my waistcoat complete with phone in the pocket at the clinic! I left the craft shop to walk home and see if Darren or Tina would run me back to the clinic. They weren't downstairs, but with very good reason, which I discovered when I looked in the kitchen.
That was taken through the back door, the shed, which had been on it's side up the garden had been caught by the wind and barrel rolled down into the house! Darren and Tina were outside trying to dismantle it. I tried to help a bit, will put a few more pics.

Then a couple more as they managed to remove some parts of the shed.

It is all collapsed at the top of the garden now, we were skidding about in the mud during the final push! Darren then ran me back to the clinic to collect my waistcoat and phone. The wind has remained very strong and and cold and the rain has turned to sleet this afternoon. I have started to sew the strips together for the quilt. Mike is coming up tomorrow for a couple of days, hopefully the weather won't turn too awful.

  1. Such a mess, but lucky no one was out there when it happened! That she'd has been a nightmare, I think Darren needs a proper brick built workshop, that won't blow away! The weather isn't wonderful here right now, but hopefully it'll be nice to me in the morning when I drive up.
