It has been a wet, grey day today, not particularly cold though. I spent the morning indoors, I had promised Isobel I would try to make up one or two of the paper decorations I got a template and papers for then send her pictures. She wants the green one, her favourite colour at the moment so I made a pink one first to make sure I was doing it right. It is a wooden template.
I wrote several letters last night so went out in time to catch the Saturday collection. Then wandered over to a completely deserted park, it was pretty damp and horrid when I went out.
I took a look at the wall in the back garden when I got back. The builder has worked on it for a while and it is now straight and will last our stay here out without a doubt!
On the way back from the park there was one solitary rose in one of the gardens, such a bright spot on a grey day.
This afternoon Darren got the bike into the boot of the car and we went to Halfords, I have had it six weeks now and they do a check to see that all is well. I really wanted to see if the saddle could be moved back. They had moved it as far as possible but only about a centimetre, will try tomorrow and see if it helps with the pain in the knees.  The guy also altered the angle of the handlebars saying that might help, I couldn't really see what difference it would make to my legs but it will make me sit more upright which is probably a good thing! Got a cd through the post from Mike of favourite songs from Strictly. Have been playing it and really enjoying lots of popular songs with good beats.

  1. Like the paper decorations. The template is very good, and I like the way by marking the holes it allows you to draw all the necessary mark up lines on it. Very cunning. I'm sure Isobel will be very pleased with the green spotted one!
Hopefully the small adjustments on the bike will help. If not it's definitely a motorbike or a scooter for you :-)
    Glad you liked the cd.

    1. It is one of the best templates I have used and will last forever and still be as accurate. Will try the bike tomorrow, fingers crossed. Have the cd on for a second time!
